In the late 1970's local realtor and entrepeneur Bill Bilton had a dream of creating a golf and real estate complex the envy of all others.
As a golf course architect he selected Robert Trent Jones Senior. For a property a site bordered by sagebrush-covered hills to the north and the South Thompson River to the south was selected. An inspired choice it was!
